Pan Africa Insurance Holdings Limited is an insurance, investment and retirement group that comprises several companies. The companies are: Pan Africa Life Assurance Limited offering life insurance and with 100%shareholding, PA Securities Limited previously known as Pan Africa General Insurance Limited which is an investment arm  the group with 100% shareholding, Sanlam Investment Management (Kenya) Limited which deals with investment and portfolio managers with 100% shareholding, Mae Properties Limited which is a real estate company held through PA Securities Limited with 100% shareholding, Chem Chemi Mineral Water Limited which is a water bottling company held through PA securities Limited with 100% shareholding and Runda Water Limited which does water distribution in Runda Estate and is held through Mae Properties with 24.90% shareholding.

The Company strategic focus is on Positioning the Company Business to Promising segments of the Economy and diversfying the Product Offering. The group going forward is investing in re-designing the organisation structure and moving towards an integrated target operating model. The main objective of the plan will be attainment of operational efficiency through integrating core support functions at the group level and disseminating associated costs and benefits. The Company recently acquired an additional five per cent stake in Gateway Insurance, raising its equity in the subsidiary to 56 per cent. The Company has also adopted the internal  risk-based model Complying with the Risk Based Compliance Model Expected to be rolled out by the Insurance Regulatory Authority.
