Liberty Kenya Holdings Limited (LKHL) is the holding company for Heritage Insurance Company and Liberty Life Kenya Assurance Ltd, the short term and long term businesses of the group. It is a subsidiary of Liberty, financial services group, offering a comprehensive range of long-term insurance products and services to both the individual and corporate markets. Liberty  has five product pillars namely, life insurance, health insurance, asset management, property development and short term insurance with a presence in 15 countries across Southern, East and West Africa.

The Company strategy going forward is focusing on Technology to improve customer experienceas well as streamlining Operational Efficiency. Liberty holdings has already adopted the internal risk-based model inherited from it's South African parent company that is in compliance with the plans to introduce Risk based Supervision by the Insurance Regulatory Authority. Liberty has the highest available non-life solvency margin, which would imply that it is best positioned to withstand a large loss event.
